Last February 5, 2021 , the Traze Team conducted a simulation test in the MRT3, to have a final run-through before implementing Traze Contact Tracing App in the stations. Together, they tested the ease-of-use and speed of the Traze app from the registration, to scanning at the departing station, to scanning the actual MRT train they rode, and final scanning at the arrival station. The simulation from North Avenue Station to Quezon Avenue Station was smooth and there were no issues found. The MRT3 team also noted that the scanning process is quick, and will not be a hassle to the passengers at all. Traze will greatly help minimize the long lines for contact tracing, and the possible transmission of the virus from using pen and paper. MRT 3 passengers are encouraged to download and register an account in Traze to prepare for the upcoming soft launch.
